How do we earn our income?

Our Fee Structure

We do not charge a fee for our service if you purchase one of our recommended properties.

We have a full Real Estate Licence and earn our income the same as any other agent.

We work with Vendors who want to sell their property and if we are successful about obtaining a sale they pay us.

While we are fully Licensed Agents we do not operate the way a typical agent does because we only list properties that we want to list.

A typical Real Estate Agent will sell you a property but does not actually recommend that property as a good buy and mostly will have done no research on the vendor or the builder/developer or on the area.

For all legal purposes we act for the Vendor as they are paying us.

In real terms we act for you the purchaser.

Let me explain how we work;

We have researched many many more builders than we represent, and all of them wanted our company to sell their homes. However when we completed our research they did not build the quality of homes (home owner quality) that we were prepared to recommend to our clients. So there are a very small number of builder we are willing to recommend to you.

We operate the same way with our apartment vendors but with a twist that really shows we do not act as normal Real Estate Agents or other property sales companies.

Once a new development is released and if we have made the decision to recommend that particular development to our clients we spend hours going over the plans. We look at every floorplan the outlook from each apartment, the apartments with the best courtyards and best balconies and create a shortlist of the best properties in the development.

Once they are sold we no longer recommend that development even though there may still be many available. In fact it is very unusual for us to still be recommending apartments in a development once half of them have been sold.

Once the good apartments have gone we recommend that our clients simply wait for the next recommended development complex and buy one of the best in there instead.

It is essential you understand that this fee is NOT loaded on to the price of your property, but paid directly by the vendor to The Successful Investor.

If you have been referred by one of our associates then part of our fee may be shared with them.

If you would like to engage our Real Estate area of our company to find a property for you based on your requirements then we charge you a fee for that service of 2% of the purchase price.

Aussies Hit By Financial Scams

Consumer Affairs Victoria estimates that Australians lose $57 million each year in investment and financial scams.

The CA office receives around 300 complaints about such scams annually.

It estimates that every year an estimated 5600 Victorians fall victim to financial advice scams.

The Successful Investor has opened a new office in Western Australia.
